Sydney Audio Club is proud to be associated with local Hi-Fi equipment manufacturers, vendors and outlets, without whom it would be much harder for us to pursue our passion. The organisations linked below have given their time, expertise and demonstration equipment for our monthly club meetings and the club thanks them for this. Reports on all club meetings, including the thoughts of the attendees on the equipment presented, are available to club members in our members only area.
Finn Bespoke Technologies
Bryan Fletcher of Finn Bespoke Technology brought along the recently released Audio Note Zero DAC to our February 2015 DAC shootout meeting. Brian had previously presented a top shelf Audio Note system to our March 2014 meeting featuring the CDT 3 Transport, DAC 4 Balanced, M6 Preamp, Ongaku Kensei Stereo power amplifier and AN-E Alnico SPe Signature Speakers. Vince Hamilton from Once Analog presented one of his meticulously hand crafted turntables to our November 2014 meeting. Vince has been presenting his turntables to SAC meetings since our early days and this time we heard his MK II teamed up with The Wand Unipivot tonearm with Cardas wiring and the Grado MCZ M/M cartridge. For October 2014, Cameron Pope of Krispy Audio presented a superb system comprised of Tune Audio Anima horn speakers, Manley Labs 300B PSE 11w monoblocks, Esoteric D-02 d/a converter, Aurender X-100 Music Server and Shunyata and Krispy Kables cables. This was the second time Cameron presented a system to the club in 2014 and both were very well received by members. You can find out more at the Krispy Audio website.
Cameron Keating of distributor MAXMEDIA presented a very interesting system to our September 2014 meeting which featured the radically different
Avantgarde Acoustic Zero 1 speakers.
These active (some may say hyperactive) speakers only required the addition of the Abbingdon Music Research (AMR) CD-777 CD player to form a complete system. You can find out more at the MAXMEDIA website.
Network Audio Visual
Our August 2014 meeting was fortunate to have a system from distributor Network Audio Visual with assistance from long time club supporter Pymble Hi-Fi. The system was comprised of Aurender W20 Music Server, Parasound CD1 bit perfect CD player, Parasound P5 stereo preamplifier, Parasound JC1 400 watt monoblocks and Legacy Focus SE Speakers. Rick Stadelmaier from Equinox Audio presented a system to our July 2014 meeting that featured his Equinox Satellite bookshelf speakers, Equinox Equator sub and Equinox 200wpc power amp. You can find out more at the Equinox Audio website.
McLeans Smarter Home Entertainment
From his base on the Central Coast at McLeans Smarter Home Entertainment, Bill McLean demonstrated a system to our June 2014 meeting which featured DeVore O/96 (Orangutan) speakers, Line Magnetic Audio amplifier and PS Audio Direct Stream DAC. The Hi-Fi Trader
Nicholas Meza of The HiFi Trader in Newtown presented a system to our April 2014 meeting that featured the magnificent Rega RP8 turntable, Rega Saturn-R CD player, Rega Ilicit-R amplifier and Spendor D7 speakers. You can find out more at the Hi-Fi Trader website.
Australian speaker manufacturers VAF Research provided the feature product at our February 2014 meeting. VAF CEO Philip Vafiadis made the trip from Adelaideto host the world debut for the first production units of the VAF DC-X63 loudspeaker. You can find out more at the VAF Research website.

Len Wallis Audio
With over 30 years of service to Sydney audiophiles Len Wallis Audio is known far and wide for its expertise. From their extensive product range Len Wallis supplied the acclaimed Focal 1028BE speakers for our November 2013 meeting. Sydney Hi-Fi Castle Hill
Our September 2013 meeting enjoyed a complete package provided by Sydney Hi-fi Castle Hill featuring Unison Research Unico Primo amplifier, Unison Research Unico Primo CD payer, Audio Physic Classic 30 speakers, the fabulous Funk Firm LSD turntable and Analysis plus cables.

The Cable Connection
Matt Walker from Mulgrave based The Cable Connection's Carlton outlet teamed with distributor Westan to provide speakers and electronic components from Taiwan manufacturer Usher Audio Technology to our June 2013 meeting. You can find out more at The Cable Connection website.
Based in Melbourne, Westan are a distributor of consumer electronics including the range from highly regarded Taiwanese company Usher Audio Technology. Audio Products Group
Recognised as a leading distributor of A/V products the Audio Products Group obligingly demonstrated the NAD M51 Direct Digital DAC and a pair of Tannoy Definition DC8T speakers to our April 2013 meeting. Tube Sound Audio
Tube Sound Audio promotes DIY audio and has chosen to focus on OTL tube technology and in particular the products of Transcendent Sound. Stephen Price from Tube Sound Audio demonstrated a range of amplifiers, preamplifier and speakers to our February 2013 meeting that were all produced in Tube Sound Audio 'Amp Camps'.
